Please join CCPN for our annual Fall Conference, celebrating child care professionals in Southeastern PA.

Registration fee of $45 includes: Breakfast, lunch, two PQAS-approved PD sessions for a total of 6 PQAS hours, tables to visit with local community/ institutional organizations, and networking opportunities. Keynote presentation will be from Tim Kubart, 2016 Grammy Award winner for Best Children's Album.

Registration closes Friday 10/31/25 at 11:59pm, or when all seats are filled. Number of seats are limited. Registration and payment must be done in advance. No walk-in registration is allowed. Anyone not registered in advance for the conference will not receive PQAS hours. Please arrive promptly at 8 AM for check-in.

Neurodiversity for Early Childhood Educators

Neurodiversity is a term to describe the different thinking process of many individuals. ASD, autism, ADHD and other cognitive processing differences. Understanding how a neurodivergent mind works, allows teachers to adapt teaching strategies and environment to suit all learners. This session will look at the differences of a neurodivergent mind and give suggested strategies to implement in early childhood to help them succeed in school.

Active Preparedness Training- Responding to an Emergency

This interactive preparedness training is meant for childcare facilities and schools. Consideration for sites' specific needs for safety, security, policy, and procedure related to preventing and reacting to active emergency events. Any emergency response policy should be customized to the location, then reviewed and updated annually at a minimum.

Stop the Bleed

The focus of this training is the immediate response to bleeding. At the end of this training, you should know how to recognize life-threatening bleeding. You should also be able to take the appropriate steps to control bleeding until help arrives. If you do not feel comfortable with controlling bleeding, you can still help by calling 911 and assisting others who are controlling bleeding.

Cleaning vs. Sanitizing vs. Disinfecting

It is not enough for your facility to just look clean, the health and safety of your program depends on your facility being free of harmful illnesses. So, it’s important for owners to be familiar with the difference between cleaning vs. sanitizing vs. disinfecting. The words are often used interchangeably, but according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC) there is a big difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting.

Supporting Emotional Regulation and Trauma Through Coaching and Embedded Instruction

This course will go through an overview of special education services, focusing on emotional regulation and behavior supports. In addition, we will explore how trauma affects students behaviorally. We will wrap up with how teachers and directors can be supported in dealing with behaviors and trauma through embedded instruction and coaching partnerships.

Preschool Behavior Support

Preschool Behavior Support is currently one of the hottest topics in early childhood education. Implementing effective and evidence-based behavior support strategies consistently optimizes learning and well-being. Fostering positive educational environments that maximize student learning and educator success requires a holistic approach. Join us as we share information on understanding factors that impact student and teacher behaviors, teaching behavioral skills that promote student progress and independence, and creating a positive classroom and school environment to reduce preschool suspensions and expulsions.

Safety-Care for Families

Safety Care for Families is an adaptation of the standard Safety Care Core Curriculum, which is the approved prevention, de-escalation, and intervention program used by DCIU EI professional and support staff. We are thrilled to present this training opportunity to family members, caregivers, and educators who are supporting preschool students. We will provide practical examples of how to address safety issues in preschool settings.
